Why Indivisible QC Endorsed Candidates in Contested Democratic Races
Statewide Offices

Indivisible QC endorses Josh Turek.
Indivisible QC is endorsing Josh Turek for U.S Senate for IA as we feel he has the leadership skills necessary to be successful in the U.S. Senate and aligns with our goals for transparency and accountability in public office. He has first-hand knowledge of the harm caused by Iowa’s privatized Medicare system and will fight to ensure every American has access to affordable healthcare and prohibit insurance companies from denying medically necessary care. Josh will address the water quality crisis that is the core of Iowa’s high cancer rates by fighting to restore the funding nationwide for water quality sensors and cracking down on companies that pollute our water supply. He aligns with Indivisible’s goals of advocating for the rights of all Iowans, supporting campaign finance reform, no unnecessary wars, protect the freedom of speech and protest, and funding public schools.

Indivisible QC endorses Ruth Ann Gallagher.
Indivisible QC is endorsing Ruth Ann Gallagher for Iowa House District 97 as she will address revising the tax policies to reverse the 2022-2024 tax cuts that benefited the wealthy millionaires not the average working Iowa family. She will also work to get funding to start more affordable summer programs for children and teenagers in District 98 and will use a portion of her salary as a legislature to get these programs initiated. She is against the Iowa school voucher system as it takes taxpayer money from the public schools where it is needed the most. We feel she best aligns with Indivisibles goals for affordable healthcare, taking action on climate change, and supporting our minority communities.
