Indivisible QC’s Justice For All – ICE OUT – Day of Action

In response to the most recent ICE atrocities affecting Lorenzo Salgado Araujo and Johan Sebastian Duran Guerrero as well as many others, we are hosting an action to demand justice for their murders.
We are demanding
1) a full and independent investigation
2) The release and protection of the witnesses
3) to end local collaboration with ICE
4) demand Congress act by using their oversight and funding authority to hold ICE and DHS accountable.

Meet on the South Side of Vander Veer Botanical Park by the Water Fountain. The address is 215 W Central Park Ave, Davenport, IA 52803
For those who want to make signs, MoveOn and Food & Water Watch will be at the north end of the park in the shaded grass area behind the playground (near the lagoon and conservatory) with sign making materials from noon to 4:00 p.m.
A core principle behind all of our events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to see to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values adn to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events
