Board of Peace? I Think Not

Donald Trump has announced his plan to create histories largest protection racket. Barely disguised as the “Board of Peace” and priced at only $1Billion, this plan, straight out of a Godfather movie, is so blatantly corrupt and transparent I can’t believe anyone is taking it seriously. But I guess we have to. After all, he also commands the worlds most lethal fighting force.

The idea for this “Board of Peace” was to make a plan for Gaza. At least that was the original premise. Even for that purpose, this board has nothing to do with peace. Palestinians are not even represented, and this looks, and I am quite sure is, a group interested in “developing” Gaza. Remember that AI video that was all over the internet a while back of Trump saving Gaza? This is prime real estate. Why should the Palestinians get it, right? Yes, development will probably start, with massive funding supplied by the U.S. government and others, which will result in many private companies and individuals owning most of what is built. Like I said, blatant corruption for all to see, all in the name of Peace. But the Palestinian people will almost certainly get nothing, and therefore peace will not hold either.

Then Trump decided to invite up to 60 other foreign leaders to join the “Board of Peace”, including the war monger Vladimir Putin, and become “Founding Members” with a One Billion dollar fee, put into a fund and controlled by, you guessed it, Donald Trump. And now you see headlines like this, from the AP. Trump’s Board of Peace has several invited leaders trying to figure out how it’ll work Really??? Has the world learned nothing over the past 12 years? OK, let me explain it for you. This is Donald Trump. He is crazy, and thinks he is now the king of the world. He has “invited” you to pay him a Billion dollars to join his “Board of Peace”. No pay, No Peace. Got it? It’s not that difficult.

Why do we keep analyzing this man as if there was some kind of decent purpose or rational thought behind these actions. Why do we keep giving him the benefit of the doubt, thinking that somehow this whole scheme was actually about obtaining peace. Nothing this man does is ever about anything other than making himself more powerful or more wealthy. NOTHING. He will spend zero effort on anything that doesn’t benefit him directly. Is that not obvious yet?

So if this is allowed to happen, the U.S. military will be turned into the worlds most deadly mercenary force. They can be bought, for a fee, paid to Trump. It’s already been used that way at least once. Venezuela was not about drugs, or democracy for Venezuelans, or anything else. It was a demonstration. An example of what could possibly happen. Call it a warning and a marketing tactic all in one.

Donald Trump has been a part of organized crime his entire life. His business tactics have always been like the mob. This is just another example, but now unfortunately for us on a much larger scale. This is global extortion. Will we allow it to happen?
